My first time in this cozy café; I was nicely surprised. The coffee was delicious although not hot enough to my liking. The buttery toasts were equally good.
The service was acceptable with no frills.
Just a small advice if I may, more attention should be given to the hygiene of the place.
I’ve heard great things about this place and finally had the chance to go there today. Folks it did not disappoint, firstly the the place is has a great atmosphere, laid back vibe and clean and light inside. The staff are attentive and friendly, but what I love the most is the owner Paul coming out from the kitchen and engaging with everyone and asking if we are all ok. You can see the passion and caring enthusiasm he has and the camaraderie he has with his regulars.
But if you’re there for the first time he wants to get to know you and makes you feel so welcome. All this was great, but the food was amazing as well. I went for the full English and the portion was amazing and served in a small frying pan with all the food sizzling. The nice touch was the maple pork belly added along with the white pudding. Also if there’s things you don’t like, they will replace them for other items. I will definitely be back here again.
After seeing a review of this little cafe on youtube on the gary eats channel i decided to pay a visit. Oh, my, he was right, this is the best breakfast in London. Absolutely fantastic, for me, a sausage makes a good breakfast, and these were some of the best.I've had and everything else on my plate actually not a plate My frying pen was excellent.its so good i have been back for more and will be going again soon.
Top Notch.
Fam went on a week vacation in London and found this gem, went here twice, met the amazing owner and enjoyed authentic english breakfast 😋
All dishes we tried were cooked fresh and tasted excellent 👌
The owner made sure everyone is taken cared of. These kind of small cafés are hard to come by these days.
Highly recommend to check it out if you are visiting London area. 🙌👍
On to the next! 🫡
Oh, where to begin with this fabulous cafe! It had been on our list for a while and we came all the way out from Woolwich 13 miles to visit Paolo’s.
Easily one of the best breakfasts in all of London and we have tried over the last decade to have them all! While we still have a favorite traditional fry-up still in East London, Paolo’s wins for best overall breakfast in our opinion.
We had the Full English and the Breakfast French Toast and the quality of ingredients is just unbeatable. Between the two plates we ate 5 types of pork, 2 types of puddings, hash browns and bubble & squeak.
This is THE BEST French toast in the UK.
Come try this family breakfast joint, you’ll be very happy you did!
