I’ve heard great things about this place and finally had the chance to go there today. Folks it did not disappoint, firstly the the place is has a great atmosphere, laid back vibe and clean and light inside. The staff are attentive and friendly, but what I love the most is the owner Paul coming out from the kitchen and engaging with everyone and asking if we are all ok. You can see the passion and caring enthusiasm he has and the camaraderie he has with his regulars.
But if you’re there for the first time he wants to get to know you and makes you feel so welcome. All this was great, but the food was amazing as well. I went for the full English and the portion was amazing and served in a small frying pan with all the food sizzling. The nice touch was the maple pork belly added along with the white pudding. Also if there’s things you don’t like, they will replace them for other items. I will definitely be back here again.
After seeing a review of this little cafe on youtube on the gary eats channel i decided to pay a visit. Oh, my, he was right, this is the best breakfast in London. Absolutely fantastic, for me, a sausage makes a good breakfast, and these were some of the best.I've had and everything else on my plate actually not a plate My frying pen was excellent.its so good i have been back for more and will be going again soon.
Top Notch.
A truly magical place, with food on another level . Been here a couple of times for breakfast. And what a treat. As well as the food being freshly cooked to order, by the main man himself. The rest of the team are just as amazing.. Big up Café Paolo . And I'll be seeing you soon.
My first time in this cozy café; I was nicely surprised. The coffee was delicious although not hot enough to my liking. The buttery toasts were equally good.
The service was acceptable with no frills.
Just a small advice if I may, more attention should be given to the hygiene of the place.
First time ever I'm visiting, have something to do in a half an hour nearby.
Coffee is very god, cappuccino, small place with 9 tables, little bit cramped, London style.
Did not try breakfast but how it looks other people enjoying it and looks appetising, full english and variatons, nice choises.
Girl serving, pleasent and efficient.
Music just right, relaxing.
I'm not coffee drinker but it's good even for me.
Atmosphere cosy, just right.
Prices not low but not high for what you get, just right. (of course always can be little bit cheaper from customer point of view)
General feeling is like you are not in London, which is good, more warmer, continental feeling.
Place is busy ( 11'o clock) , clientele decent, better than average looks like.
So I would visit again and as I said I am not cofee drinker, cappuccino 3.70£ , pleasent feeling, good menu, decent clientele, good service
