Fam went on a week vacation in London and found this gem, went here twice, met the amazing owner and enjoyed authentic english breakfast 😋
All dishes we tried were cooked fresh and tasted excellent 👌
The owner made sure everyone is taken cared of. These kind of small cafés are hard to come by these days.
Highly recommend to check it out if you are visiting London area. 🙌👍
On to the next! 🫡
Café Paulo is an absolute gem of a place. This review is a little late as I first went there in February, then revisited the weekend after with friends as it was so good! More friends have gone following my recommendation and all of them were equally impressed.
We visited Café Paulo after seeing it recommended for their infamous breakfast. Having gone on a Saturday it was quite busy as the demand is high. However, we were seated within a few minutes and the menu was extensive. We picked a traditional full English breakfast & Mediterranean breakfast.
The quality of the food was extremely high, everything was freshly cooked to perfection. Service was friendly and efficient; the price was very reasonable considering the volume & quality of food. Whilst the café is small for the level of demand, it’s cosy with a pleasant atmosphere. Whilst we were there, queues formed outside, it’s that good!
Having stayed in many decent hotels, hence had a variety of breakfasts during my stays; this breakfast completely blows them out of the water. It’s the best I have ever had and will be definitely back again.
Well done to the owner and all the staff at Café Paulo!
This is a lovely local café on Uxbridge Road. Paolo’s Traditional Breakfast is a great choice to try if you’re visiting for the first time. The plate comes loaded with eggs, sausages, bacon, beans, baby tomatoes, mushrooms, rocket, and a small hash brown with toast — most of them served in double portions. It’s a huge breakfast that will definitely fill you up.
The café is very popular, especially on weekend mornings, so you might need to wait a little if you arrive around noon. The décor is cosy and welcoming, but the tables are quite close together, which can make it feel a bit crowded when the place is full.”
It was a nice little place for a breakfast. Very cozy setting. The atmosphere was very chilled. I had a Paolo's breakfast. They also have a vegetarian English breakfast option. The portions were huge and very delicious. The server was quite sweet. Would totally recommend.
The breakfast was excellent! Everything was cooked beautifully and the fresh produce was lovely. I especially liked the addition of a maple pork belly, something I've never seen on a breakfast menu but truly enjoyed. The portion size was huge for the price. Well worth a visit if you're ever in this area of London.
