Café Paulo is an absolute gem of a place. This review is a little late as I first went there in February, then revisited the weekend after with friends as it was so good! More friends have gone following my recommendation and all of them were equally impressed.

We visited Café Paulo after seeing it recommended for their infamous breakfast. Having gone on a Saturday it was quite busy as the demand is high. However, we were seated within a few minutes and the menu was extensive. We picked a traditional full English breakfast & Mediterranean breakfast.

The quality of the food was extremely high, everything was freshly cooked to perfection. Service was friendly and efficient; the price was very reasonable considering the volume & quality of food. Whilst the café is small for the level of demand, it’s cosy with a pleasant atmosphere. Whilst we were there, queues formed outside, it’s that good!

Having stayed in many decent hotels, hence had a variety of breakfasts during my stays; this breakfast completely blows them out of the water. It’s the best I have ever had and will be definitely back again.

Well done to the owner and all the staff at Café Paulo!

Greatest Cafe experience in London. True British jewel with golden old school values. THE BEST FULL ENGLISH YOU WILL EVER HAVE. And the rest of the menu is BANGIN and flexible as well. No matter where you live in London, you gotta come in and be taken care of by the most amazing Paola, he’s the greatest host and you’ll leave with joy in your heart.

It was a nice little place for a breakfast. Very cozy setting. The atmosphere was very chilled. I had a Paolo's breakfast. They also have a vegetarian English breakfast option. The portions were huge and very delicious. The server was quite sweet. Would totally recommend.

This cafe has been reviewed by a number of Youtubers at least 4 of which (Darren John,
Greeno Eats, Gary Eats and Michael Bites) rate it as having the number 1 full English breakfast in London.

They are absolutely correct.

I arrived around 9am on a Tuesday morning and there was only 1 or 2 customers. Within half an hour most of the indoor seating was full.

I specifically requested no charring on anything and I got exactly that.

The breakfast was so big that I had to leave the toast and beans as I struggled to finish it.

I also want to say I was allowed to swap the black pudding for homemade sausage and it was superb.

If I had finished the whole breakfast, there's no way I could have eaten lunch - it was that big.

I will also add I deliberately chose a hotel in west London so I could get here easily and I wasn't disappointed.

This is a hidden gem hiding in plain sight.

Lovely café with a great atmosphere. The food was amazing, especially the English breakfast, cooked perfectly and the portion is generous. It’s also good value for money, making it a fantastic spot for a satisfying and relaxing meal. Highly recommended!
